Seeking Employee Health and Safety Management (3-5 Yrs) for a Startup

Role Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Employee Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment, incident investigation, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses; determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations in India.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization through effective communication and engagement.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Collaborate with management and employees to foster a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest EHS trends, regulations, and best practices.
