Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer with 3-4 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, managing environmental impact assessments, and advising on legal and regulatory frameworks related to urban transport projects. This role requires a unique blend of technical environmental knowledge and legal acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) for urban transport infrastructure projects.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with national and state environmental laws, regulations, and policies, particularly those impacting urban development and transportation.
- Advise project teams on legal requirements for environmental clearances, permits, and approvals.
- Review environmental audit reports and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and legal counsel on environmental matters.
- Develop and implement strategies for pollution control, waste management, and biodiversity conservation within project sites.
- Stay updated on evolving environmental legislation and case law relevant to the infrastructure and urban transport sectors.
- Assist in legal proceedings or consultations related to environmental disputes or non-compliance issues.
