Seeking Head - Taxation (3-5 Yrs) for an MNC

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Head - Taxation to join our multinational corporation in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all taxation matters for the Indian operations, ensuring compliance with domestic and international tax laws, and contributing to strategic tax planning. This role requires a strong understanding of the electronic components/semiconductor industry's tax landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring full compliance.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and consultants on all tax-related matters.
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Prepare and file all necessary tax returns and reports accurately and within deadlines.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the management on their impact.
- Assist in tax audits and assessments, ensuring timely resolution of queries.
- Review contracts and agreements from a tax perspective.
- Stay updated with industry-specific tax regulations within the semiconductor sector.
