Role Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Legal & Regulatory team as an Associate, supporting the legal and compliance functions within our Ports & Shipping operations. This role is ideal for a recent MBA/PGDM graduate eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic corporate environment within the Indian maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements relevant to port operations and logistics.
Support the team in ensuring compliance with all applicable Indian maritime laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct legal research on various regulatory matters impacting the ports and shipping industry.
Help in managing regulatory filings and submissions to government authorities.
Assist in coordinating with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel on various legal and compliance matters.
Monitor changes in legislation and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the company's operations.
Maintain organized records of legal documentation and correspondence.
Participate in internal audits and due diligence processes as required.
Gain exposure to dispute resolution and litigation support activities.
