Job Description
Role Summary: Agricx is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Physical Design / Layout Engineer with a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree to join our innovative team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in chip design. You will be instrumental in designing and verifying the physical layout of integrated circuits for our cutting-edge agricultural technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full custom layout design of analog and digital blocks for IoT devices and sensor modules.
- Perform layout, routing, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys IC Compiler).
- Ensure design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) compliance.
- Collaborate with circuit designers to optimize layout for performance, power, and area.
- Assist in block-level timing closure and power analysis.
- Contribute to the development of layout methodologies and flow improvements.
- Document design specifications and verification results.
