Role Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pumpman with an MBA/PGDM to join our operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in the pulp and paper industry. The Pumpman will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of various pumping systems within the plant, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the performance of all pumps and associated equipment.
* Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on pumping systems to prevent downtime.
* Assist in troubleshooting any operational issues related to pumps.
* Maintain accurate records of pump operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
* Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.
* Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to implement improvements.
* Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables for pumping systems.
* Analyze operational data to identify areas for efficiency gains.
* Support the implementation of new pumping technologies or upgrades.
