Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Transport Management professional with 3-4 years of experience and a B.Pharma background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the transportation of pharmaceutical goods, ensuring timely and compliant delivery while managing logistics operations efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage efficient transport strategies for pharmaceutical products, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, warehousing, sales) and external logistics partners to ensure smooth movement of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to stakeholders and resolving any logistical issues promptly.
- Optimize routes and transportation modes to minimize costs and delivery times.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, including those specific to pharmaceutical products (e.g., cold chain management, temperature control).
- Manage carrier relationships, negotiate freight rates, and evaluate carrier performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including shipping documents, delivery confirmations, and cost analyses.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the transport management function.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with quality assurance to ensure product integrity during transit.
