Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing and optimizing the sourcing and procurement of agricultural commodities and related inputs. This role requires a deep understanding of the agricultural supply chain, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for agricultural produce, packaging materials, and other operational inputs.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and ethical practices.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain dynamics to anticipate potential disruptions and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Quality Control, Finance) to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Analyze procurement data and generate reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and support strategic decision-making.
