Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a wide range of products to meet business needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the retail and e-commerce landscape in India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various product categories.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance and adherence to contracts.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new product introductions.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., merchandising, marketing, operations) to understand product requirements and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing practices.
- Monitor and manage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
