Senior Buyer - Textiles

Role Summary: The Senior Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality textile raw materials and finished goods in alignment with Raymond's product development and manufacturing needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the textile market, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain robust supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for textile raw materials (e.g., fibers, yarns, fabrics) and finished apparel components.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize inventory levels.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Collaborate with design, product development, and manufacturing teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and global supply chain dynamics to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
