Senior Import & Export - Other role in Power

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Import & Export Specialist with a Doctorate/PhD to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our international trade operations within the power sector. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless import and export processes, compliance with regulations, and strategic sourcing of critical components and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, logistics, and freight forwarding.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in international trade.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Indian and international trade laws, regulations, and policies.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on global market trends, tariffs, and trade agreements impacting the power industry.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers and partners globally for critical equipment and raw materials.
- Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers.
- Analyze import/export data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on trade activities, market intelligence, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, engineering, finance) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
