Senior Kit Manager (Surat)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Kit Manager with 3-5 years of experience and an MBA/PGDM to oversee the efficient management and distribution of all equipment and material kits within our Defence & Aerospace operations in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of kits to various project teams, and implementing best practices in supply chain and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies for all project-related kits, including raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of all equipment and material kits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage kit procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and order placement, in coordination with the procurement team.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and other tracking tools, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and project management teams to ensure timely availability of required kits, mitigating any potential shortages or delays.
- Develop and implement kitting processes to streamline assembly and delivery of specific project requirements.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements to reduce costs and optimize stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on inventory management procedures and best practices.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, kit availability, and operational efficiency for senior management.
