Role Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Legal Counsel with expertise in Family Law to join our legal department. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and support on all matters related to family law, including but not limited to, employee-related personal matters, divorce, child custody, alimony, and property settlements, ensuring compliance with Indian family law statutes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal counsel and strategic advice on complex family law matters affecting employees and the company.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, agreements, and settlements related to family law cases.
• Represent the company and/or its employees in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings concerning family law disputes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian family law legislation, including the Hindu Marriage Act, Special Marriage Act, Guardians and Wards Act, and relevant personal laws.
• Advise on pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, and other marital asset protection strategies.
• Manage and oversee external legal counsel engaged in family law matters.
• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures related to family law matters for employees.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law and related regulations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive personal information.
