Senior Legal Counsel - Media & Entertainment

Role Summary: ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support and strategic advice on a wide range of matters pertaining to the company's extensive media and entertainment operations, including television broadcasting, digital content, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance within the Indian legal framework.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and counsel on all aspects of media and entertainment law, including broadcasting, content creation, distribution, and digital media.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, such as content licensing, production, advertising, and partnership agreements.
- Advise on intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, and defamation issues, and manage IP portfolio protection.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including those governing broadcasting, advertising, and digital platforms.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues and prepare legal opinions and memoranda.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory landscapes in the media and entertainment sector.
