Senior Machine Operator / Machinist - Infrastructure, Transport & Real Estate Sector

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator / Machinist with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining various types of machinery within the infrastructure, transport, and real estate sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, performing quality checks, and contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of mechanical principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines, according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to understand project requirements.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.

Set up and calibrate machinery, ensuring all safety guards and devices are in place and functional.

Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to optimize production processes and schedules.
