Senior Non IT Recruiter - Ports & Shipping (3-5 Yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Non-IT Recruiter with a strong understanding of legal frameworks and compliance, ideally with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, to join our Human Resources team at Visakhapatnam Port Authority. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, with a focus on sourcing and attracting talent for non-technical roles within the ports and shipping industry. This role is crucial in ensuring we have the right talent to support our operations and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for non-IT positions, including administrative, operational, legal, and managerial roles within the ports and shipping sector.

Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates, leveraging various channels such as job boards, professional networks, and industry events.

Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to legal requirements.

Utilize your LLM knowledge to ensure all recruitment processes and documentation comply with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Manage candidate communication, provide timely feedback, and maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruitment plans.

Negotiate offers, facilitate the onboarding process, and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Contribute to employer branding initiatives and continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.
