Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service / Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage the maintenance and repair operations for our industrial automation systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, minimizing downtime, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity and performance of our clients' automated facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance and service team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
* Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for all industrial automation equipment and systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues with automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and drives.
* Ensure all maintenance and repair work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
* Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components and optimizing stock levels.
* Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair costs.
* Participate in the evaluation and selection of new equipment and technologies.
