Service / Maintenance Supervisor - Ports & Shipping (3-5 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service / Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree and 3-5 years of experience in a relevant supervisory role within the ports and shipping industry, or a related logistics/operations field. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our port facilities and equipment through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance and service teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all port equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.

Manage repair operations, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring prompt resolution.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and labor hours.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Assist in budget preparation and control for maintenance operations, including parts procurement and vendor management.

Train and mentor junior technicians and support staff.

Liaise with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to port operations.
