Shift Manager / Supervisor - Manufacturing & Production (1-3 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shift Manager / Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility in Chennai. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and managing the shift team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes, excellent leadership capabilities, and a background in legal compliance, leveraging their LLB degree to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during assigned shifts to meet production targets.

- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.

- Maintain accurate production records and generate shift reports.

- Train and mentor new employees, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.

- Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.

- Liaise with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics, to ensure smooth operations.

- Apply legal knowledge to ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
