We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Deck - Other. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and compliant handling of maritime-related documentation and processes within our legal operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical aptitude and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree, coupled with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process shipping manifests, bills of lading, and other maritime legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with national and international shipping regulations and legal frameworks.
- Liaise with clients, shipping agents, and regulatory bodies to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and advice related to maritime law and logistics.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all shipping-related activities and documentation.
- Conduct research on relevant maritime laws and industry best practices.
- Support senior legal professionals in handling complex shipping and logistics cases.
- Utilize technical knowledge to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
