Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping Engineering & Technical professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics and technical aspects of our shipping operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of building materials across various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, technical specifications of building materials, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipping activities, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards.
- Liaise with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to negotiate rates and ensure service quality.
- Oversee the technical aspects of packaging, loading, and unloading of building materials to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
- Conduct regular audits of shipping processes and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, procurement) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in shipping and logistics.
