Shipping & Maritime - Logistics Coordinator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and samples for our clinical research operations in India. This role will be crucial in ensuring the timely delivery and receipt of critical items, adhering to all regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping regulations, with a focus on the pharmaceutical or clinical research sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments of clinical trial materials, laboratory supplies, and equipment.
• Liaise with shipping carriers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth transit and timely delivery.
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, import/export permits, and compliance certificates.
• Track shipments, provide status updates to internal stakeholders, and resolve any logistical issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling and cold chain requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage logistics-related expenses.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance) to meet logistical needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures.
