Slimming Head / Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Slimming Head / Manager to oversee and optimize our slimming operations within our mining facilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, minimizing waste, and implementing best practices in resource utilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material handling, process optimization, and a proven track record in a managerial capacity within the metals and mining sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for material slimming and waste reduction across all relevant operational areas.
- Supervise and manage a team of personnel involved in slimming operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless integration of slimming processes.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems for processed materials and by-products.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for the team.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and company policies related to waste management and resource recovery.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, cost analysis, and efficiency metrics for senior management.
- Drive innovation in slimming techniques and technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability.
- Manage budgets and control operational expenditures related to slimming activities.
