Role Summary: The Social & Public Service Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance the public service aspect of Vividh Bharati's broadcasting. This role focuses on leveraging the reach of radio to promote social awareness, community engagement, and public welfare programs across India. The officer will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure impactful and meaningful outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute public service broadcasting campaigns in alignment with national social objectives.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders to identify social issues and develop targeted radio programs.
- Manage content creation and scheduling for programs focused on health, education, civic responsibility, and cultural heritage.
- Organize and promote community events and listener engagement activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of public service initiatives, providing regular reports.
- Foster partnerships to amplify the reach and effectiveness of social messages.
- Stay abreast of current social trends and public needs to inform program development.
- Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations and ethical standards.
