Job Description

Role Summary: HDFC Bank, Nasik, is seeking an experienced Social Studies Teacher to contribute to our corporate social responsibility initiatives and employee development programs. This role will focus on educating employees and their families about various social, economic, and political aspects relevant to the Indian context, fostering a deeper understanding of societal structures and their impact on business and personal lives. The ideal candidate will leverage their M.Com background to connect economic principles with social studies concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum on Indian social studies, including history, civics, economics, and geography, tailored for adult learners and potentially their families.
- Design and conduct workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions to explain complex social and economic issues in an accessible manner.
- Facilitate discussions and group activities to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving related to societal challenges.
- Research and stay updated on current events, economic trends, and social policies in India and their implications.
- Collaborate with HR and CSR departments to align educational content with company values and community engagement goals.
- Assess participant learning through various methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilize an M.Com perspective to explain the interplay between economic policies and social outcomes.
