Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Compliance - License Management professional to join our team in India. This role is crucial for ensuring that all software assets within the organization are procured, deployed, and managed in compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate software inventories, managing license renewals, and mitigating compliance risks across our clinical research operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive software license management policies and procedures.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all software assets and their associated licenses.
- Track software usage and ensure compliance with vendor agreements and licensing terms.
- Manage the procurement process for new software licenses and renewals.
- Monitor for license expirations and initiate renewal processes in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address any software license compliance gaps or risks.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and procurement departments to ensure adherence to software licensing regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in software licensing models and relevant compliance laws.
- Generate reports on software license status, usage, and compliance for management.
- Assist in responding to vendor audits and inquiries related to software licensing.
