Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Software Compliance Specialist with 3-4 years of experience to manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements within our electrical equipment division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance frameworks, ensuring that our organization adheres to all legal and contractual obligations related to software usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage the lifecycle of software licenses across the organization, ensuring accurate inventory and utilization tracking.

Conduct regular audits to verify software license compliance and identify any potential risks or non-compliance issues.

Develop and implement policies and procedures for software acquisition, deployment, and retirement to ensure adherence to licensing terms.

Liaise with legal, IT, and procurement teams to negotiate software license agreements and renewals, optimizing cost and risk.

Stay updated on changes in software licensing regulations and vendor policies relevant to the electrical equipment industry.

Prepare compliance reports for management, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.

Assist in the resolution of any software license disputes or audit findings.
