Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer in Test (SDET) with a BBA/BBM background and 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team in Nagpur. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality of our software solutions that support our extensive FMCG operations. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and executing test automation frameworks and strategies, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases, leveraging your business acumen.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools and languages.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear, concise documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on testability and quality aspects of user stories.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Understand the business impact of software defects and prioritize testing efforts accordingly.
