Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our innovative Mining Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions to optimize our mining operations, enhance safety, and improve efficiency. You will work with a cross-functional team of geologists, engineers, and data scientists to build robust applications that leverage data analytics, IoT, and automation technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications for mining operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate software with existing mining hardware and systems (e.g., sensors, PLCs).
- Develop data visualization tools and dashboards for operational insights.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
