Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Sommelier with 3-5 years of experience to join our esteemed Gems & Jewellery organization in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree and demonstrate a unique ability to blend analytical thinking with a refined palate and understanding of luxury products. You will be responsible for curating and presenting our exquisite jewellery collections, ensuring an exceptional client experience that mirrors the sophistication of fine wines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our jewellery collections, including gemstones, metals, craftsmanship, and design aesthetics.
- Apply principles of sensory evaluation and presentation, analogous to wine tasting, to showcase the unique characteristics and value of each jewellery piece.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences, occasions, and budget, providing expert recommendations that align with their needs and our brand standards.
- Create compelling narratives and descriptions for jewellery pieces, highlighting their provenance, craftsmanship, and emotional appeal.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop innovative client engagement strategies and exclusive events.
- Analyze sales data and client feedback using your BCA skills to identify trends and opportunities for product enhancement and client satisfaction.
- Ensure impeccable presentation of jewellery in display cases and during client consultations.
- Conduct training sessions for junior staff on product knowledge and client interaction techniques.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging luxury market demands.
