Sommelier - Investment Banking / Venture Capital / Private Equity (2-3 Yrs) (Mumbai)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sommelier with 2-3 years of experience and a B.Com degree to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills and understanding of financial markets to provide expert wine knowledge and service within a corporate setting, supporting our investment banking and private equity operations. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen and oenological expertise, contributing to client engagement and internal corporate events.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the selection, procurement, and inventory management of wines for corporate events, client meetings, and executive dining.

Develop and maintain wine lists that complement the firm's offerings and client preferences.

Provide expert advice on wine pairings and service to internal teams and external clients.

Manage wine cellar operations, ensuring proper storage conditions and quality control.

Organize and conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for staff and clients.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global wine trends, new vintages, and market pricing.

Utilize B.Com knowledge to understand the financial implications of wine procurement and inventory.

Support the planning and execution of corporate hospitality events.
