Somnologist

Role Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Somnologist to join our esteemed medical team. The Somnologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing sleep disorders, ensuring optimal patient care and contributing to the advancement of sleep medicine within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with sleep-related complaints.
• Interpret polysomnography (PSG) and other sleep study data.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and restless legs syndrome.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include lifestyle modifications, medication, or device therapy (e.g., CPAP).
• Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders and treatment options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as neurologists, pulmonologists, and psychiatrists, to provide integrated care.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in sleep medicine.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
