Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our research and development team. The Sonographer will be responsible for conducting ultrasound examinations on agricultural livestock, primarily focusing on reproductive health and productivity assessments. This role is crucial for our breeding programs and animal welfare initiatives within our agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on livestock (e.g., cattle, poultry) to assess reproductive status, fetal development, and overall health.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Record and interpret ultrasound images, providing accurate and detailed reports to veterinarians and research scientists.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for research projects related to animal reproduction and productivity.
- Collaborate with farm managers and veterinary staff to implement best practices in animal husbandry and reproductive management.
- Ensure adherence to all animal welfare and safety protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in veterinary ultrasound technology and techniques.
