Job Description
Role Summary: HDFC Bank is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our medical services team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonography examinations and assisting in the provision of patient care within our corporate healthcare facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of sonographic principles and techniques, as well as excellent patient interaction skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
- Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns they may have.
- Record and document patient history and findings.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonography.
