Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our advanced medical diagnostics team at Biocon Limited. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of ultrasound physics, anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as excellent patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients as per physician's orders and established protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate sonographic images for technical quality and diagnostic information.
- Document patient history, procedure findings, and communicate results to physicians.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and address their concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonography techniques and technology.
