Sonographer - Iron & Steel Sector (0-2 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sonographer with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Pune. This role will involve performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using ultrasonic techniques to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and components within the iron and steel manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a foundational understanding of material science and inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasonic testing (UT) on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished steel products as per established procedures and standards.
- Operate and maintain ultrasonic testing equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
- Interpret UT test results and prepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting any defects or anomalies.
- Assist senior technicians in identifying and diagnosing material flaws, such as cracks, voids, and inclusions.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing activities, including equipment used, test parameters, and findings.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during testing operations.
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure timely and accurate material inspection.
- Continuously learn and update knowledge on new UT techniques and industry best practices.
