Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Sound Director to join our team in Nasik. This role is ideal for an individual with a Master's degree in Design (M.Des) and 2-4 years of experience in sound design, audio production, or a related field. The Sound Director will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing sound strategies across various Pratham initiatives, including educational content, awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the impact and engagement of our projects through innovative audio experiences. This position requires a blend of artistic vision, technical proficiency, and a passion for social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sound design concepts for educational materials, digital platforms, and multimedia projects.
- Record, edit, and mix audio for various applications, ensuring high-quality sound output.
- Collaborate with content creators, educators, and program managers to translate project objectives into compelling audio narratives.
- Source and manage audio assets, including music, sound effects, and voiceovers.
- Oversee the technical aspects of audio production, ensuring compatibility across different platforms and devices.
- Conduct sound surveys and analysis to inform design decisions and optimize audio experiences.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in sound design and audio engineering.
- Manage audio budgets and timelines effectively.
