Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Sound Engineer to join our growing R&D team. The Sound Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of acoustic systems and sound-related features for our next generation of medical devices. This role requires a deep understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and audio hardware, with a focus on creating user-friendly and effective sound experiences for medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop acoustic components and systems for medical devices, ensuring optimal sound quality and performance.
- Conduct acoustic measurements, analysis, and simulations to validate designs and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and optimize audio signal processing algorithms for noise reduction, sound enhancement, and user feedback.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate audio systems into medical device prototypes and production units.
- Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation for acoustic performance and compliance.
- Research and evaluate new audio technologies and components relevant to medical device applications.
- Ensure all sound-related designs comply with relevant medical device regulations and standards.
- Work closely with product management and user experience teams to define sound requirements and ensure user satisfaction.
