Sound Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sound Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. The Sound Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving noise and vibration issues in our packaging machinery and production environment. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace by mitigating noise pollution and optimizing acoustic performance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct acoustic measurements and noise surveys using specialized equipment (sound level meters, FFT analyzers).
- Analyze sound and vibration data to identify sources and causes of noise in machinery and production lines.
- Develop and implement noise reduction strategies, including soundproofing, vibration damping, and equipment modification.
- Recommend and oversee the installation of acoustic treatments and noise control measures.
- Ensure compliance with Indian occupational health and safety regulations related to noise exposure.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to integrate noise control solutions into equipment design and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of acoustic assessments, recommendations, and implemented solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve unexpected noise or vibration issues that arise during production.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in noise and vibration control.
