Sous Chef - Internet Sector (1-3 Yrs)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sous Chef with 1-3 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role is crucial in supporting our culinary operations within the fast-paced internet sector. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency. Your strong understanding of business principles from your M.Com will be valuable in managing costs and inventory effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Manage inventory, conduct stock checks, and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
- Contribute to menu development and costing, leveraging your M.Com knowledge for profitability analysis.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
