Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Special Education Teacher with an M.Des degree to join our team in Thane. This role is designed for an individual with 0-2 years of experience who is passionate about inclusive practices within the sports and leisure industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored educational programs to support individuals with diverse learning needs, ensuring their active and meaningful participation in our recreational activities. Your M.Des background will be leveraged to create engaging and accessible learning environments and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for participants with special needs, considering their unique learning styles and abilities.
Utilize design thinking principles from your M.Des to create inclusive and adaptive recreational materials, tools, and environments.
Facilitate engaging and accessible learning sessions and workshops related to sports, fitness, and recreational activities.
Collaborate with program coordinators, coaches, and support staff to ensure a holistic and supportive experience for all participants.
Assess participant progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders, adjusting strategies as needed.
Stay updated on best practices in special education and inclusive design within the sports and leisure sector.
