Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a creative and skilled Special Effects Technician to join our dynamic live events team. This role will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing a wide range of special effects for concerts, festivals, corporate events, and other live entertainment productions managed by BookMyShow. You will work closely with event producers, stage managers, and technical directors to bring imaginative concepts to life, ensuring safety and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute special effects, including pyrotechnics, smoke, fog, confetti, streamers, and atmospheric effects, in accordance with event requirements and safety regulations.
Operate and maintain special effects equipment, ensuring all gear is in good working order and ready for use.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative special effects concepts that enhance the overall event experience.
Ensure all special effects are implemented safely, adhering to strict protocols and obtaining necessary permits.
Conduct site surveys and risk assessments for special effects deployment.
Manage inventory of special effects materials and equipment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during live events.
