Special Jurisdiction Police Officer

Role Summary:
Pratham Education Foundation seeks a dedicated and proactive Special Jurisdiction Police Officer to support its operations and ensure the safety and security of its beneficiaries and staff, particularly in areas where our educational programs are implemented. This role will involve collaboration with local law enforcement agencies and community stakeholders to address specific security challenges and facilitate the smooth functioning of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with local police departments and government authorities to understand and navigate jurisdictional nuances related to our operational areas.
- Develop and implement security protocols and risk assessments for Pratham's field operations, especially in sensitive or remote locations.
- Investigate and report on security incidents, ensuring timely and accurate information flow to management and relevant authorities.
- Provide guidance and training to field staff on safety measures, emergency preparedness, and conflict resolution.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders and local stakeholders to foster a secure environment for our programs.
- Monitor and analyze the security landscape in program implementation areas, providing proactive advice.
- Assist in the coordination of emergency response plans and support during critical situations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security and public safety.
