Sports Agent

Role Summary:
As a Sports Agent within Wipro's BPO division, you will be responsible for managing and promoting the careers of athletes, negotiating contracts, and securing endorsements. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the sports industry, applied within a corporate BPO context to foster employee engagement and well-being through sports initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and scout potential talent within Wipro's employee base for various sports activities and leagues.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for employee sports teams and individual athlete development.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements for employee participation in inter-company or external sports events.
• Secure sponsorships and endorsements for Wipro's sports initiatives and employee athletes.
• Manage budgets for sports programs and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with sports federations, event organizers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to athletes regarding training, performance, and career progression within the company.
• Promote sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle among employees.
