Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sports Biomechanist with 0-2 years of experience to join our team. This role will focus on analyzing the biomechanics of athletic movements to enhance performance and prevent injuries among our personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human movement, data analysis, and a passion for sports science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biomechanical assessments of athletes using motion capture, force plates, and other relevant technologies.
- Analyze movement patterns to identify inefficiencies and potential injury risks.
- Develop and implement customized training programs to improve athletic performance and reduce injury rates.
- Provide feedback and guidance to athletes and coaches on technique and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in sports biomechanics and sports science.
- Assist in the development and implementation of injury surveillance systems.
