Sports Equipment Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sports Equipment Technician to join our team at Decathlon India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various sports equipment and recreational facilities within our stores and potentially for customer sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble new sports equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and preventative repairs on a variety of sports equipment (e.g., treadmills, stationary bikes, resistance machines, gaming consoles).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with sports equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
• Ensure all installed and repaired equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to store staff on equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
