Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sports Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science degree to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in developing and implementing nutrition plans for athletes and sports teams. You will play a crucial role in enhancing athletic performance, promoting recovery, and ensuring optimal health through evidence-based nutritional strategies. This role is within our Manufacturing & Production division, focusing on products related to sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for athletes, considering their training schedules, performance goals, and dietary needs.
- Educate athletes on the principles of sports nutrition, including macronutrient and micronutrient requirements, hydration, and supplementation.
- Monitor athletes' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed to optimize performance and recovery.
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and medical staff to ensure a holistic approach to athlete well-being.
- Conduct assessments of body composition, energy needs, and dietary intake.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in sports nutrition and translate this knowledge into practical recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of sports nutrition-related products within the company's manufacturing and production lines.
- Provide nutritional counseling and support to athletes facing specific challenges, such as injuries or eating disorders (under supervision).
- Maintain accurate records of athlete assessments, plans, and progress.
