Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sports Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Sports Physician will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries and illnesses related to sports and physical activity. This role involves working closely with athletes, sports teams, and general patients to optimize performance and ensure safe participation in physical activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of musculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitation, and sports science principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage sports-related injuries and medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide pre-participation physical examinations and fitness assessments.
- Advise on injury prevention strategies and conditioning programs.
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate athletes and patients on health, nutrition, and performance enhancement.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in sports medicine and research.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Conduct regular health and wellness programs for corporate employees.
