Job Description

Role Summary: Air India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Psychologist to support the mental well-being and performance enhancement of its flight crew and operational staff. This role will focus on developing and implementing psychological strategies to manage stress, improve resilience, and optimize performance in high-pressure aviation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the psychological needs of flight crew and operational staff.
  • Develop and deliver individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Implement stress management and resilience-building programs.
  • Provide psychological support during and after critical incidents.
  • Conduct workshops on topics such as fatigue management, decision-making under pressure, and team cohesion.
  • Collaborate with HR, training departments, and medical teams to ensure holistic staff well-being.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in sports psychology and aviation psychology.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
