Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Sports Psychologist to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. This role is ideal for an individual with a B.Sc degree and 1-3 years of experience, passionate about enhancing the mental well-being and performance of our athletes and sports personnel within the Indian Railways sports division. You will work closely with athletes to develop coping strategies, improve focus, and build resilience, contributing to their overall success and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group sessions with athletes to assess psychological needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support for performance enhancement, stress management, injury recovery, and team cohesion.
- Implement evidence-based psychological techniques to improve focus, motivation, confidence, and emotional regulation.
- Educate athletes and coaches on mental skills training, sports psychology principles, and well-being strategies.
- Collaborate with coaches, medical staff, and management to create a supportive environment for athletes.
- Monitor athlete progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain confidential records of client sessions and progress.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in sports psychology.
